Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry are not only struggling with professional bankruptcies, the couple also has to defend themselves against nasty rumors of a crisis. Among other things, Meghan tries to score points with small gestures when appearing in public.
While Sussex fans are eagerly awaiting the next step in the career of Duchess Meghan, 41, and Prince Harry, 38, nasty rumors about their marriage have been circulating in the current headlines for some time. Although friends of the couple have long since denied the crisis speculation and defined it as “not true” and “literally invented”, a body language expert now claims to have observed a meaningful gesture from the former actress in one of the few appearances by Meghan and Harry together.
Duchess Meghan’s smile is a ‘social gesture’
A few weeks ago, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted leaving an office in Santa Barbara – just days after it was officially confirmed they had finally vacated their British home, Frogmore Cottage. According to body language expert Judi James, Harry and Meghan presented themselves just as tactfully as they used to in that brief public appearance and integrated some of their rituals “alively and well”. “Harry and Meghan are a walking testament to marital bliss,” said Judi James in an interview with UK newspaper Mirror, adding: “Their looks of mutual adoration and their inability to touch, hug, caress or shake hands for no more than a few moments have always proven that their love, controversial as their comments may be, is an enduring success story.”
James also emphasizes that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan were photographed on the street during their last joint appearances and were still holding hands even in these moments. Contrary to the rumors of the crisis, Duchess Meghan in particular still seems to feel most comfortable in the presence of her husband:

And where does the current speculation about a separation of the dream couple come from? “I think it was very remarkable that leading up to the release of his [Harrys] Autobiography he had all the publicity and Meghan was conspicuous by her absence,” Royal expert Katie Nicholl dares to explain to “Mirror” and concludes: “This was really the first time we saw a gap between them, because until then they were a partnership and at this crucial moment when Harry is doing the boldest and perhaps bravest thing of his life, she is not there for him. And that has led to more rumors of an impending breakup – but there’s no evidence. They present a very united front.”
