Dumbo on Disney+: Tim Burton finds his Batman actors and brings the flying elephant to life

The live-action feature film “Dumbo”, a remake of the masterpiece from Disney animation studios, is now available on the Disney+ platform!

Released in cinemas exactly three years ago, Dumbo is coming to SVOD for the very first time, under the Disney Plus platform banner. This family feature film by Tim Burton, a remake of the Walt Disney Picture animation studios masterpiece (itself adapted from Helen Aberson’s tale), follows the adventures of a young baby elephant decked out in giant ears, brutally separated from his mother and taken in by a traveling circus.

During this shoot, the American filmmaker was able to cross paths with two emblematic actors from his early career, before Johnny Depp became his official muse. Main actor of Beetlejuice and the two Batmans (in the title role), Michael Keaton camps in Dumbo Mr. Vandevere, the wealthy owner of an amusement park without qualms or feelings.

As for him, he appeared in Batman the challenge in the role of the Penguin, but also in Mars Attacks and Big Fish also directed by Tim Burton, Danny DeVito lends his features to Max Medici, the director of the Medici Brothers circus, more interested in his sources of income only to the well-being of its employees and its animals.
