Dune: Spice Wars gets even better with Line in the Sand update

Funcom and Shiro Games launched last year Dune: Spice Wars, a type management and strategy game 4X in the science fiction universe created by Frank Herbert. The title is currently in Early Access on PC, it has already been entitled to several updates adding multiplayer, a faction and various new features.

The developers obviously continue to improve Dune: Spice Wars throughout this early access and they are launching today Line in the Sandan update that tweaks several mechanics of gameplay based on player feedback. Shiro Games details:

Today’s update improves content across the board, and addresses many community requests. Players can now review and view their performance with an entirely new and much-requested feature: an end-game stats chart. Military units have also been rebalanced and received major AI improvements.

Additionally, map generation and starting points have been improved to create fairer game starts, and a Landsraad bar has been added to show the different phases of the complex system, making them easier to follow. On the other hand, there are new regions and village characteristics, new military equipment, spy operations and adviser reshuffles, to name a few additions.

Dune: Spice Wars will be released as a reminder of its Early Access in the course of 2023but you can already buy it against €29.99 on Gamesplanet.
