Unveiled by surprise at the Game Awards 2021, Dune: Spice Wars is the new production developed by Shiro Games (Northgard, Wartales), which places us on Arrakis, a coveted desert planet, in particular because of one of its very rare and precious resources, spice. Like the books and movies, this will be the core of the game, as we already knew.
In order to present his game a little more, an RTS/4X, a gameplay video has been published, which shows us some game mechanics, whether fighting or clan management, which are neither more nor less the houses that we find in the license. So far, only two have been revealed, the Atreides and Harkonnen houses. As we can see, the other humans will not be the only enemies, since the sandglasses will also be in the game.
Building, protecting, innovating and attacking will therefore be the most important points of Dune: Spice Wars, with obviously tactics to adopt, to take your opponents from behind. Moreover, the developers have chosen to work on such a game, since they are particularly admiring of this universe.

In parallel with this little gameplay video, Shiro Games also gave some details about the arrival of Dune: Spice Wars. We can expect to see it land this spring, in Early Access on Steam. Several important updates will be deployed in stride, before its final release.
