One of the most famous learning apps expands its functionality. In addition to foreign languages, Duolingo will now offer exercises to learn in the areas of music and mathematics.

The application officially announced the arrival of its new “ multi-subject experiment “. This includes its flagship language learning product, Duolingo Music, as well as the recently unveiled Duolingo Math platform. All in one application.

Fun and interactive exercises

For several months, indications have suggested that learning music is in Duolingo’s pocket. It is now confirmed. Ensuring that more than 3.6 million students do not have access to musical education across the Atlantic, the firm has decided to offer an experience dedicated to children and adults alike to learn music.

His musical experience will contain “ hundreds » exercises and more than 200 “ fun and familiar tunes “. As with language learning, the lessons will be interactive and fun. For now, Duolingo has not given details on its new feature, which it will present in more depth during its Duocon event on October 11.

Although information is limited, images shared by the company reveal dynamic exercises such as “ fill in the boxes » or “do match the pairs », during which users select, for example, the note that corresponds to the sound.

Duolingo also thinks about math losers!

Same story for learning mathematics, which is focused on participatory and recreational experiences. In addition to multiplication, subtraction or division, Duolingo aims to tackle more advanced concepts such as fractions, area, perimeter, angles, etc.

The app adapts to different math skill levels, providing a personalized learning experience. A godsend, because we are definitely not all equal when it comes to math! The reward system offered by Duolingo for foreign languages will also apply to mathematics and music. Objective: encourage participation and perseverance.
