Dwayne Johnson: The actor destroyed his front gate

Dwayne Johnson won't let a broken entrance gate stop him. Instead of waiting for technicians, he tore it open with his bare hands.

The fact that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (48, "Baywatch") has a lot of power is nothing new. But now the actor took it to extremes: he tore down his electric entrance gate with his bare hands. "Not my finest hour, but a man has to go to work," wrote the Hollywood star to a photo on Instagram, on which the destroyed gate can be seen in the grass. The reason for the show of strength: a power failure.

"We had a power outage due to a severe storm that prevented my front gate from opening," said Johnson. He tried to bypass the hydraulic system to open the gate. But it didn't work. "I made a couple of calls to see how quickly the gate technicians can come". They would only have been with him in 45 minutes. But he knew "that hundreds of production employees (from 'Black Adams', Ed.) Are waiting for me to come to work". So he decided to literally take the problem into his own hands.

"So I did what I had to do," he wrote matter-of-factly. "I ripped it completely out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics, and threw it on the grass." An hour later, the technicians and the welder were on site. They couldn't believe it and were equally scared, Johnson said. The 48-year-old did not reveal whether he now has a new goal.
