With three weeks to show off your parkour skills amid hordes of zombies, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is finally making its way to PC and consoles. But how does the performance on last-gen consoles compare to the PS5 and Xbox Series X? Developer Techland now presents the different console versions in a new video.

Last Gen vs. Current Gen
We already reported in advance that Techland would like to show last-gen gameplay this month. Now in the sixth and final YouTube episode of Dying 2 Know, Techland shares a lot of new information with one brief console comparison, which is intended to take away some of the fears of owners of the last-gen consoles in particular. Since Cyberpunk 2077, alarm bells have been ringing for most when video footage from older versions is withheld.
But judging by the video, the PS4 and Xbox One versions can keep up – at least as far as possible. Both last gen scenes look good and might satisfy fans. They are far from a catastrophic cyberpunk state.
The scenes from the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X obviously look better and the light atmosphere is particularly impressive. The smooth 60 FPS, which you cannot set on PS4 and Xbox One, are also noticeable. There you have to be satisfied with the default (for last-gen) 30 FPS.
One of the console versions was left out of the video altogether, and it was Dying Light 2 for the Switch. However, the open-world game is also coming only as cloud version on Nintendo’s console.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human is expected to be released on February 4th, 2022 on PC and consoles.
Make decisions together in co-op mode
In addition to the console comparison, there were also new details about the co-op mode. So will you play through the entire game together with friends be able. The host and any guests who have joined will keep their player progress and any item collected when they leave the session.
But Dying Light 2 is more than parkour and slaughter, because you will be faced with difficult decisions in the course of the story. In co-op mode you should discuss together and make a choice but the host should have the last word.
