As the game’s release approached, the question of Dying Light 2: Stay Human’s lifespan remained unanswered for fans. Techland, however, announced that the game will have additional content for a few years.

After announcing that crossplay would not happen when Dying Light 2: Stay Human is released, Techland continues the promotional campaign for its game and entrusts the plans around the latter for the years to come.

Although Techland regularly monitored the progress of its game through the Dying 2 Know series of streams, the studio hasn’t always been well understood. In this series, they revealed “old-gen” images of the future game but also insights of its co-op mode. Now it’s the turn of Dying Light 2 lifespan to be revealed, and Techland has the good surprise in store for us to ensure a long follow-up for his game.

It was on the Polish publisher’s Twitter that the information came out and Dying Light 2: Stay Human will get a minimum of 5 years of support from Techland. It is therefore expected that many missions, items or even temporary events come out over months and years. Techland reiterates here the same model that had known the first opus.

As a reminder, Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be released on February 4 on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
