Dying Light 2: The story can be completed in 20 hours

When Techland announced on his social media that it would take around 500 hours to complete everything and see everything 100% in Dying light 2, the announcement did not fail to react. Faced with a part of the community already exhausted from having to face such a long game, especially in a period rich in releases, the studio released the oars to specify the different lifespans, and yesterday brought even more details, to reassure those who do not have as much time to invest.

A communication operation that did not go through

The studio has reached out to the press and cracked a new post that takes stock of the whole situation a bit, the reactions of which have exceeded what Techland might have expected. It is then specified thatit will take about 20 hours to complete the main story, on average. As for complete all the side quests and discover the history of the world, it will take around 80 hours according to the style of each one.

As for the 500 hours, the studio once again declares that this data includes all collectibles, all dialogue, all endings and the fact of having visited the map at 100%.

In short, a hell of a damage control on the part of the studio for this story of life. There is no doubt that others will not risk such an exercise for a long time.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be available on February 4, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
