Dying Light 2 will have the right to DLC for 5 years

Dying Light first of the name benefited from many content updates after its release, whether free with temporary events, or paying, through major DLCs. Techland will repeat the operation with Dying Light 2, as he announced on social networks.

As its release approaches, the Polish studio does not hesitate to share new information with us. After the presentation of the cooperative mode, among others, Techland specifies the post-launch content of its survival game. The latter will be supported for at least five years, through new stories, new locations or even temporary events. No details, except that the players will be spoiled. The goal is to drastically expand the world of Dying Light 2 in the years that follow.

The method had worked rather well for Dying Light, which, several years after its release, was still receiving popular DLCs, allowing to see the number of players not weakening. It remains to be seen whether some of the additional content for Dying Light 2 will be free, which should be the case, if we refer to the first episode, where it was not necessarily necessary to pay to access certain new features.
