Dying Light 2 was officially released in February of this year 2022, on most gaming platforms. And if the developers have planned to add many new elements to the software, the lead designer of the second opusTymon Smektała, would like to make some changes to the Dying Light formula in the future.
Indeed, Tymon Smektała recently spoke to VGC journalists. During the interview, the lead designer of Dying Light 2 explained that he would like to ” that the main character starts with bigger and better starting abilities and skills “, in a potential third opus.
For Dying Light 2, the developers used the same formula as in the first opus: the player starts with fairly low statistics and must increase them as the adventure progresses. A point that Tymon Smektała would like “ having corrected if he had the chance to start all over again. ” So I think in the third game, if that happens, the character will start with more powers, more skills, more abilities […] ” did he declare.
Finally, know that the Techland studio has planned a fairly substantial and regular follow-up for Dying Light 2. Moreover, the developers have recently shared information about the content to come, for the next few months, in particular on the very first DLC.
