Dying Light: The license has sold 30 million copies – Dying Light 2


Techland studio license, Dying Light, has been present in the video game landscape for years now. Indeed, as a reminder, the very first opus arrived at the beginning of 2015 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Subsequently, we saw a port on Nintendo Switch and a so-called “Enhanced” edition, offering improvements in terms of graphics, landed. Not to mention, the Definitive Edition which made itself available on most gaming platforms in June 2022.

Last year, we had the right to a sequel, Dying Light 2: Stay Human, which invites us to embody Aiden Caldwell and whose events take place fifteen years after those narrated in Dying Light, and to its “Bloody Ties” DLC. Besides, this second opus, released on February 4, 2022, is about to blow out its first candle. For the occasion, Techland has planned a plethora of celebrations », an anniversary stream, gifts and events.

The development studio also announced that the Dying Light license has sold 30 million copies. This data concerns both physical and dematerialized versions. It also means that, since last spring, five million copies of Dying Light 2 have been sold. Oleg Klapovskiy, occupying the position of “Chief Publishing Officer”, has also declared on this subject:
