Dynatrace increases – software “paramedics” from Linz on the advance

Dynatrace is really accelerating when it comes to growth! The software specialist from Upper Austria, who only moved into the development center not far from the Posthof in Linz two years ago, is now also making a statement in Vienna. A move to a larger area is planned, and the team is expected to grow from around 80 employees to around 400 over the next few years.

A restaurant on the ground floor, plus a café on the fourth floor with its own barista – these are just two of the details that Dynatrace attached great importance to when setting up the development center in Linz. But that is no longer enough for the software manufacturer founded by Bernd Greifeneder. “We need a second attractive location as a magnet for international specialists,” says the company’s technology boss.

In Linz, where the Dynatrace story began in 2005, there are now 520 employees. Vienna is now being expanded: from the current 80 employees, the plan here is to grow to around 400. The space for this is currently being created: Under the direction of Florian Dorfbauer from Perg, the move to Icon Vienna Tower 17 will follow in spring.

The amount of data more than doubles every two years
Dynatrace needs around 300 new employees for research and development every year. Driver: the rapidly increasing amount of data. “Whether when shopping online or on social networks – each of us is constantly producing data. The amount produced will more than double every two years, ”said Greifeneder.

Dynatrace automatically detects problems and security gaps in digital systems and treats them immediately. The digital “paramedic” is the world market leader, and H&M is also one of its customers.
