We know Dyson stick vacuum cleaners for their performance, their colorful colors, but also for their prices, often a significant obstacle to equipping yourself. This Black Friday may be the opportunity to take the plunge. The manufacturer’s official website publishes offers that can be described as very aggressive on some of its models, including the latest model: the Gen5Detect in its Absolute version.

To all honor, the Gen5 Detect is the best stick vacuum cleaner in our comparison. Its suction performance is matched only by its ease of handling. Dyson has packed its flagship with many little tips that really make life easier, first and foremost the battery life count down to the second. Of course, we can do without the particle counter and the green light supposed to reveal to our amazed eyes the invisible dust that litters our floors.
On the other hand, once you have tasted it, it is difficult to do without the nozzle system integrated into the suction tube and the Point&Shoot collector emptying system. In its Absolute version, the Gen5 Detect comes with a soft brush equipped with its laser, a hard brush for vacuuming long-pile carpets, an electric minibrush for cars and upholstery, as well as a flat brush. Of course, even with a €200 discount, its acquisition represents a certain cost (€799), but the Gen5 Detect Absolute is well worth it.

Since we don’t all have €800 to spend on a vacuum cleaner, the Dyson V11 Total Clean is available for €300 less than usual thanks to the British manufacturer’s €150 pre-Black Friday discount, or €499 at final. It is a little less sophisticated than its illustrious big brother, but holds its own against the competition. Obviously, we find the perfect multicyclonic filtration which brilliantly separates air from dust, but also certain elements present on the Gen5 Detect, such as the precise autonomy indicator and the Point&Shoot emptying system.
The Total Clean version is very well equipped with accessories and, apart from the vacuum cleaner itself, the box contains a soft Fluffy brush, a hard brush, an electric minibrush, a brush for mattresses and fabrics, a flat brush, a brush hard, a soft brush and a long nozzle. Don’t throw any more away!

On the other hand, the autonomy indicator is reduced to its simplest expression (a trio of diodes which go out as they are used) and the Point&Shoot emptying system gives way to a more traditional method based on the hinged bottom of the waste bin, which rotates by pressing a button placed on the exterior wall. Given its low price, the Dyson V8 comes with a flat brush and a long nozzle only.
