At first glance, this device looks like a simple looper. In reality, it goes much further. Multifunctional, the Dyson Airwrap Complete Long can replace all your hairdressing appliances. The English brand has provided a tip for each function and for each type of hair. Dry, straighten, flatten, volumize, wave and even curl: it can do it all.
And its versatility does not detract from its performance, Dyson having equipped it with the same V9 engine as the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer. The air is therefore propelled powerfully and at high pressure, for faster styled hair with less heat. On this point, the dyson Airwrap Complete Long is responsible for checking the temperature 40 times per second so that it remains well below 150°C.
Dyson has added another flagship technology to it, based on “the Coanda effect”. In concrete terms, all the tips are designed to diffuse the air with a very precise orientation, and thus automatically attract the hair around the roller or to the surface of the brush. Dyson Corrale: smooth hair without damaging it
If your mum swears by silky smooth hair, the Dyson Corrale straightener is for her. Practical, this device has the advantage of being wireless and can therefore accompany it everywhere, for small occasional touch-ups (ideal in rainy weather!). Offered at 479 euros with its charging station, the Dyson Corrale straightener can last 30 minutes in heating with a full battery.
While all straighteners are notorious for damaging hair with extreme heat, Dyson has found the solution to deliver effective straightening while reducing heat damage. The English brand uses copper and manganese alloy plates, which are more flexible than the ceramic or titanium usually used on this type of device. Such flexibility allows the hair to be collected, giving the user more control and thus achieving the hairstyles with less damage.
To go even further in hair preservation, Dyson has integrated an intelligent heat control system, responsible for checking 100 times per second that the temperature does not exceed that requested by the user.
Moreover, three options are offered by the Dyson Corrale straightener: 165°C for fragile hair, 185°C for normal hair and 210°C for thick and healthy hair. Just like the battery level, the temperature is controllable from the integrated OLED screen.
