E-bike bargain at Aldi: trekking bike with a range of 170 kilometers reduced by 800 euros

• Aldi is currently offering the “Prophete Entdecker 4.0 Premium Plus” trekking e-bike online.
• The Pedelec offers a powerful mid-engine with 70 Newton meters of support power. The range is up to 170 kilometers.
• Aldi charges 1,699 euros, the recommended retail price is 2,499.95 euros.

There are currently really good offers for e-bikes at Aldi. A highlight is the trekking e-bike from Prophete, which is on offer at the discounter for 1,699 euros.

The Pedelec has a mid-engine with an output of 70 Newton meters. This is very good and ensures sufficient support even in mountainous regions or on steeper climbs.

Suspension fork and suspension seat post

Hydraulic disc brakes ensure sufficient braking power, and a 10-speed derailleur from Microshift is also installed. Additional features include a Suntour suspension fork, a lighting system, an adjustable stem and a suspension seat post. There is also a smart tag that can be used to find the bike via Apple’s Find My network.

Considering the price, the overall package is really good. If you want even more range and an even more powerful battery, you can find a similar Prophete e-bike at Aldi with slightly better features – but at a higher price.

The Prophete trekking bike will be available from May 19th at Aldi for 1,699 euros. The manufacturer’s recommended retail price is 2,499.95, so you save around 800 euros. Other retailers do not currently have the e-bike on offer.
