An e-bike is on offer at Lidl. The Zundapp folding bike is currently available for well under 900 euros. That’s how good the deal is.

Would you like to buy a new e-bike especially for the way to work or the next holiday trip? Then the current Lidl offer could be interesting. The discounter offers a folding bike from Zündapp for just 840 euros.
The pedelec comes with 20-inch tires and a total weight of 21.1 kilograms. The permissible total weight is 120 kilograms. The derailleur from Shimano offers six gears, the rim brakes (V-brakes) are from Tektro.
The rear wheel motor has an output of 250 watts, the e-bike battery should be sufficient for a distance of between 35 and 65 kilometers – depending on the riding style. The bike has a lighting system, mudguards, a side stand and a luggage rack.
For the price of 840 euros you get a simply equipped e-bike. There is no more precise information about the battery and motor, the built-in components are cheap, the fork has no suspension. Rim brakes are more common on very inexpensive bikes, while higher quality bikes use hydraulic disc brakes, which provide better braking power.
The folding bike is therefore particularly suitable for short distances, for example between the S-Bahn and the office or for short tours on vacation.

The Zundapp e-bike costs 839.05 euros at Lidl. The bike is a whopping 460 euros below the manufacturer’s recommended retail price. On average, however, other retailers only charge a little more than the discounter.
