e-LOGIK and BOA Concept: long-term support

(Boursier.com) — In 2014, e-LOGIK opted for agility by entrusting the automation of its historic site in Toulouse to BOA Concept. Since then, the installation has been modified several times in order to follow the new rates of the Toulouse site. This agility has also won over other members of the network and BOA Concept has since equipped the Le Mans member (Tremblaye Logistique), the Paris-Roissy member (Kairos Logistique), as well as the return management specialist , a member of the network for almost 10 years, the Lyon-based company Coliback.

The activity of e-LOGIK, specialist in the supply chain dedicated to e-commerce, has jumped by 65% ​​over the past two years and now reaches 4 million parcels shipped per year. In Toulouse, the company has set up a new 4,000 m(2) site, three times larger than the previous one, a true showcase of its expertise in e-commerce logistics.

e-LOGIK has chosen to renew its confidence in BOA Concept and to equip this new warehouse with solutions from Saint-Etienne, a precursor of intralogistics 4.0

Flexibility, a pioneering value BOA Concept

Made up of standard elements equipped with on-board intelligence, assembled together like an electric train, the BOA Concept lines are very easy to upgrade or move.
Thus, the line of the historic warehouse, in operation since 2014, could be dismantled and moved by the e-LOGIK teams themselves, demonstrating the ease of handling the smart modular conveyor Plug-and-Carry .

The backward compatibility of generations of Plug-And-Carry modules made it possible to reuse and extend the conveyor line during this deployment in the new site.
