E-mountain bike on sale at Lidl: 150 kilometers range and 80 Newton meter motor

Would you like to buy an e-bike, preferably an e-mountain bike that you can enjoy for a long time? Then you can currently find a suitable offer at Lidl at a very fair price. For just under 1,900 euros, the discounter is offering a model from Fischer that comes with very decent features. The range and motor are particularly impressive.

The Fischer e-bike has 29-inch tires and a frame height of 43 or 49 centimeters – the choice is yours. The battery offers a solid capacity of 630 watt hours, which should enable ranges of up to 150 kilometers.

The mid-engine comes from Bafang. According to the manufacturer, the “M400” delivers a torque of 80 Newton meters. That’s more than decent and can also get you up steep climbs. The suspension fork comes from SR Suntour, it’s a fairly simple model. There is no information about the suspension travel, but we suspect it’s a 100-millimeter model.

10-speed gearshift, hydraulic disc brakes

Other features include a 10-speed derailleur and hydraulic disc brakes. The e-bike weighs around 25 kilograms and the permissible total weight is 135 kilograms.

The equipment is really decent considering the price. It does use some rather cheap components, but that’s normal for just under 2,000 euros. If you want a higher quality part, you’ll have to dig much deeper into your pockets.

The Fischer Montis 4.1i has a recommended retail price of 2,900 euros, Lidl only charges 1,902 euros. Other retailers’ prices start at 2,090 euros, but are usually significantly higher.
