E3 will be back in physical and digital in 2023

Following the pandemic, the last editions of E3 have been canceled or organized only online. While this year’s edition will not take place, we could start to worry about the future of the show which was one of the most anticipated of the year. However, Stan Pierre-Louis, CEO of ESA, which is the organizing association of the event, has just revealed to the Washington Post that the show is expected to take place in 2023.

For the first time since 2019, the show will be organized in physics and will receive the public. To see how ESA will succeed in organizing this type of event again and especially if this E3 will be successful again. Indeed, in recent years, publishers have done without this show to announce their next games and new products. In fact, they could, like Sony in 2019do not use E3 to promote it but we hope that publishers will continue to play the game next year.

We are excited to return in 2023 with a digital event and an in-person event. As much as we love these digital events, and as much as they touch people and we want that global reach, as much as we know there’s a very strong desire for people to come together – to be able to connect in person and see and talk about what makes games great.

Now we are waiting to find out the dates of this show which should probably take place in June 2023. However, this usual date may well change as the Summer Game Fest is a serious contender at E3. In the meantime, we will have to wait a long time to have more information about E3 2023 and also about this organization in physical and digital. See you in a few months to find out more.
