Like every month, EA is preparing to announce the name of the Player of the Month (December POTM) of La Liga for the FUT mode of EA FC 24. To do so, the league is offering fans the opportunity to vote for one of the many players pre-selected by the publisher. The fan vote counts towards part of the final result. The winning player will obtain a special card (receiving a boost) available via a DCE for one month.

For the month of December, EA has selected five players for this trophy. Among the players listed, there are few options. Indeed, Rodrygo seems the most interesting choice but the latter has already obtained several special cards this season, making the POTM probably unattractive. It must be said that with a TOTW, a TOTGS and a Trail Blazers (via DCE), the Real Madrid player would need a POTM at least 88-89 with a style of play different from Set Piece to attract the crowds.
Besides that, the alternative seems to be Dovbyk, also the author of a great start to the season. With two TOTW, the Ukrainian could hope to obtain a POTM 87+, which would be interesting from the perspective of a physical BU. In addition, Inaki Williams is still a fairly popular player in the FUT community, although his card is very specific.

The final result will be revealed next week (probably Thursday, December 28) and a Team Building Challenge (DCE) will be set up afterwards to obtain a special POTM card for the winner. POTM and investment on FUT
La Liga SBCs are generally inexpensive although many players invest in these challenges. Indeed, it is recommended to buy player cards from major clubs like Real Madrid or FC Barcelona as regularly as possible in order to sell them on the day the DCE is released if one of their players is favorites.
