Single-player games aren’t quite dead at Electronic Arts, and the publisher was quick to point this out in its latest financial statement. It must be said that EA has a special relationship with disney and plans to release several games from the entertainment giant’s licenses, whether on the side of Star Wars or of Marvel. Last week, we learned by surprise that a Black Panther solo game was in preparation at the publisher, but Jeff Grubb today confirms that another Marvel game is in the works at EA.
An Iron Man single-player game on Anthem’s skeleton?
I’ve heard a few rumors that it’s Iron Man but I never had anything concrete to fully report on.

The journalist stated this on his Game Mess Mornings show, where he indicates thatbesides the game Black Pantheranother single-player Marvel game exists at Electronic Arts. He doesn’t give more details about it, but being the reliability of the journalist, one can imagine that all of this is true.
Then comes the insider Tom Henderson, who responded to this rumor by adding new information, which this time should be taken with a grain of salt. He mentions that he has heard of of an Iron Man game that would be in preparation at Electronic Arts :

So like him, we will remain cautious in the face of this rumor, but an Iron Man game by Electronic Arts seems to almost make sense (almost too much). After all, with Anthem and its flying exoskeletons, there is already a base to exploit, right? We hope to find out very soon.
