Rally and WRC enthusiasts will be happy to hear that Codemasters has planned a sequel to the franchise. DiRT with EA Sports WRC. Now under the EA flag, the studio specializing in racing games continues its saga on the ruthless roads of the WRC with a new opus. EA Sports WRC, the racing game using the official license of the World Rally Championship, will be available on November 3 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
A new WRC game in the line of DiRT
Codemasters takes advantage of being now under the dome of EA to use the tools of the American giant. Thus, EA Sports WRC has theUnrealEngine in order to offer a completely next-gen game for rally fans. On the program, 18 official sites of the FIA World Rally Championships, 600km of stages in varied weather conditions and nearly 80 vehicles from yesterday and today.
We will therefore be entitled to the cars of the current season in WRC but also vehicles from WRC2, Junior WRC as well as 68 rally cars from the past 60 years. Better, the game offers a mode allowing you to make your own WRC car starting with a selection of the chassis, the bodywork and the essential mechanical parts. EA Sports WRC also offers a 32-player online mode, to compete against your friends or the rest of the world on the different stages of the season. Especially since the game also offers custom events called ” Moments which allow players to relive key moments from the 2023 season as well as key events from the sport’s archives.
