How to make hazelnut cream?

You can serve your Easter nests simply by placing a few eggs inside, or, if you have the soul of a great gourmand, garnish them with hazelnut cream! To make it yourself, it’s also child’s play. For around 4 people, have: 50 cl of milk, 40 g of sugar, 15 g of cornstarch, 1 egg, 20 g of hazelnut powder, 40 g of hazelnut puree.

To prepare, start by heating the milk with the sugar, cornstarch, egg and hazelnut powder in a bain-marie, remembering to mix constantly until the mixture thickens. Mix the preparation with the hazelnut puree in a blender then pour into a large pot. Let cool to room temperature. Before using it, store your hazelnut cream for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
