EC and credit cards on the verge of extinction: the changeover brings a decisive disadvantage for bank customers

The simple reason: With the credit cards used for years, many bank customers have accumulated large amounts of data. These would now disappear as a result of their exit, as reported by the financial scene. Less data therefore means less creditworthiness for consumers.

According to the report, however, the Schufa score will not deteriorate dramatically. However, it is “noticeable”.

Also important for bank customers: Many retailers in Germany currently do not accept the new debit cards as a payment method. You can find out why here.
