Amazon introduced the Echo Show 15 some time ago. From now on you can order the largest Echo so far for 249.99 euros at

to buy. However, Amazon will not start delivery until May 10, 2022.
The latest member of the Echo Show family has a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen and can be wall-mounted or used with a separately available stand – in both portrait and landscape mode. According to Amazon, families should use the Echo Show 15 to organize everyday family life.

You can customize the Echo Show 15 home screen to suit your needs and add the information that is most important to you and your family. The new Alexa widgets should be easy to arrange according to your preferences and are constantly updated. In this way, families should always be kept up to date.

Echo recognizes you:
Visual ID is a new feature that allows Alexa to personalize the information on the screen. After you create a visual ID, Alexa recognizes you when you’re in front of the Echo Show 15 and displays a greeting, reminders, calendar events, recently played music, or sticky notes from other residents. Creating a visual ID is optional and requires separate setup. All images used for this are encrypted and only stored locally on the device, as Amazon promises. Users can delete their visual ID at any time.
Echo Show 15 is powered by the new Amazon AZ2 Neural Edge processor (a quad-core processor) that Amazon says it has developed for local processing of computer vision (CV) algorithms. In this way, the Echo Show 15 should be able to recognize a person who has created a visual ID and process their images directly on the device.
Organize everyday life:
Users can quickly view and update the family calendar, add or remove products from the shopping list, leave a sticky note, and more. The smart home favorites widget lets you view and control your most-used smart home devices with a tap of your finger.
Big display:
The 15.6-inch touchscreen with 1080p video streaming is well suited for Alexa content from Prime Video, Netflix, ZDFmediathek or ARTE. You can also call up the news from Tagesschau, Spiegel, Bild or n-tv and then follow it conveniently on the large screen.
