Ecomiam: sales increased by 13% over 9 months

(Boursier.com) — In a context still marked by high food inflation weighing heavily on purchasing power and a highly competitive environment orchestrated by large retailers, ecomiam showed resilience with stable store sales in the 3rd quarter at 9.6 million euros (+0.2%). At constant sales area, store sales for the 3rd quarter also remained stable over the period.

Over the first 9 months of 2022-2023, ecomiam maintained its development and recorded store sales up +12.9% (+8.9% at constant sales area).

The banner benefited from the opening of 3 new stores in Brittany (Bain-de-Bretagne), Occitanie (Cazères) and Pays de la Loire (Herbignac) and was able to compensate for the closure of 7 stores that did not offer insufficient development prospects.
With a network of 64 points of sale as of June 30, 2023, the Group remains focused and fully mobilized in the short term on improving the performance of its network.

The first tangible effects of this performance plan are expected from the second half of 2022/23 and will enable ecomiam to resume the path of expanding its network from the 2023-2024 financial year, including 6 new points of sale are scheduled in the 1st quarter of 2023-2024.
