Economy: foreign exchange reserves increase by almost €10 billion in April

(Boursier.com) — The net foreign exchange reserves of the French State amounted to E246.039 billion ($263.705 billion) at the end of April compared to E236.111 billion ($255.26 billion) at the end of the month of March 2024, i.e. an increase of €9.928 billion, including the impact of the valuation methods at the end of month exchange rates.

The State’s net reserves are distributed as follows:
– Gold reserves: €168.99 billion
– Net foreign currency reserves: €30.36 billion
– Reserve position at the IMF: €6.622 billion
– Assets in SDRs: €34.275 billion
– Other reserve assets: €5.792 billion.
