Instead of manually marking the mowing area with cables, the Ecovacs GOAT G1-800 does it wirelessly. A beacon signal, a small antenna that you rotate into the lawn, is used to mark exactly the parts of the lawn that the robotic lawnmower should work on. The GOAT G1-800 uses this to orient itself and therefore always knows where it is.
You can define up to 16 areas in the app to create a map for your garden. Do you want to mow a zone directly? No problem. One click is enough. You can also set up restricted zones. Intelligent mowing plans help to organize lawn mowing work without the need for laborious settings.

Suitable for small and medium-sized gardens
The Ecovacs GOAT G1-800 is suitable for a lawn of up to 800 square meters. In one week it should be able to mow up to 2,800 square meters. On average, that means the entire garden three to four times a week. Of course, you can easily configure whether the robotic lawnmower should mow that often using the app.
Differentiation from the GOAT siblings
Ecovacs has also introduced the GOAT GX-600 for small gardens.
In contrast to the G1-800, the GX-600 can only manage a maximum of 600 square meters of lawn, but above all it not only works without cables, but even without guide posts.

Just like its relatives in the Ecovacs robot vacuum range, it navigates by sight. But that also means that it was designed for rather simple garden layouts and requires, for example, a stone border or a fence as a “guard rail” if it is not also to mow the flowerbed or the neighbor’s garden.
