Ed Sheeran has announced two special performances in London. He will play his new album there in its entirety in November.

Ed Sheeran’s (32) new album “Autumn Variations” will be released in around three weeks. The British singer has now announced two very special appearances in London on Instagram, where he would like to perform the entire record on stage.

The two concerts, which will take place at the famous Royal Albert Hall, are said to be the only ones where Sheeran will play all the songs from the new album, which will be released on September 29th. The shows are planned for November 18th and 19th.

“I wanted to do a few concerts on the occasion of the last days of autumn and play the new album in its entirety,” writes Sheeran in the announcement. “These will be the only performances for this album and will be very, very special,” he promises. Fans who would like to have an early chance of getting tickets must therefore pre-order one of the versions of the new album in the official store on its homepage by September 13th.

That’s the idea behind “Autumn Variations”

Sheeran won’t be on stage alone in November. The singer is accompanied in London by a band and a string ensemble, as announced by the Royal Albert Hall. These are also expected to be Sheeran’s last live concerts in the UK this year.

In the August Sheeran explainedthat he wanted to make “Autumn Variations” 14 songs inspired by autumn about 14 of his friends. Last fall, he realized that he and his friends had gone through many changes in their lives: “I wrote songs, some from their perspective, some from mine, to capture how they and I saw the world at the time.”
