Ed Sheeran: The singer wrote new songs

Ed Sheeran (29, "I Don't Care") announced in 2019 that he wanted to take a longer break from the music business after his successful "Divide" tour. Nevertheless, new songs that the Brit has worked on could possibly appear soon. Together with the South African singer Jeremy Loops (36), Sheeran has worked on several songs, as Loops explained according to the "Sun".

"I arrived early in the morning and we worked on a few different songs all day. He is known for writing very quickly," says Loops. However, the South African did not reveal exact details of the joint project. Ed Sheeran has not yet commented on this either.

Ed Sheeran announced a break in December

Ed Sheeran announced his break via Instagram in December 2019. "It is time to go out again and see more of the world," he wrote at the time. It is not the first time that the singer has taken a break from work. Already in 2015 he disappeared from the scene for around a year and later made a comeback with the singles "Castle On the Hill" and "Shape Of You".
