Singer Ed Sheeran went unguarded to a Birmingham pub to happily feast with regulars and serve them beers.
Sunday evening, the interpreter of Shape of you indeed went to the Roost in Small Heath, in the company of rapper Jaykae.
Images of the star playing billiards, drinking pints and even pulling beers or even singing No Games by Serani in the midst of anonymous customers have been circulating on social networks.
“It was a crazy Sunday,” the pub owner tweeted after “meeting the biggest artist on the planet!”

“All of a sudden the guy walks in and everyone starts thinking ‘is that Ed Sheeran?’ while saying ‘surely not’. We didn’t understand what a superstar like him would do in a pub like here. But he was brilliant, really laid back, and he mingled with the customers. He was just a gentleman. Really down to earth and a good laugh. You can see from the pictures that he was having a great time, he even had a game of pool, then I invited him behind the bar. I asked him if he wanted to try and he started to pull a beer. It was completely surreal. He even let go that he was not working for free and that I had to pay him”, continued the boss, “still in shock”.
What a crazy day/night Sunday was! @Jaykae10 was fully behind everyone in the pub that night meeting the biggest artist on the planet! A massive thank you for not only Sunday but for all the backing with previous events (World Cup 2018)
