Ed Sheeran tops the list of Britain's richest artists under 30. He is said to have a fortune of 230 million euros.
Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran (29, "Perfect") has a fortune of 210 million pounds (around 230 million euros), reports "heat world". The musician leads the list of the richest entertainers under 30 in Great Britain and Ireland.
Far behind in second and third place are singer Harry Styles (26, "Golden") with around 82 million euros and actress Emma Watson (30, "Beauty and the Beast") with around 64 million euros in assets.
Where does all this money come from?
Ed Sheeran's wealth is based on his numerous hit successes. Among them are titles like "Shape Of You", the only song besides Elton John's (73) "Candle In The Wind", which has been awarded eight platinum awards. In addition, there are sold-out tours such as the "Divide Tour", which achieved the highest income in concert history with nine million tickets sold.
The singer-songwriter also earns from hits that he wrote for Taylor Swift (30) and Justin Bieber (26), among others, and invests his money profitably in real estate. In addition to his 16 acre Sheeranville residence, he owns over two dozen other houses and apartments as well as a brewery and a bar in London.
