New mega-deal for Eddie Murphy: The actor will work even more closely with the streaming service Amazon Prime Video in the future.
Amazon Studios want to deepen the collaboration with Hollywood star Eddie Murphy (60) in the future. According to the press release, a first-look deal has now been concluded in which the actor will play the leading role in three films. In addition, Murphy will develop his own film projects for Prime Video and Amazon Studios, also with an option for the lead role. Further details are not yet known.
It’s not the first deal Murphy has made with Amazon Studios. Most recently, the streaming service secured the film rights to “The Prince from Zamunda 2”, in which the 60-year-old played the leading role. The strip was therefore only available on Prime Video. Amazon describes the collaboration as a “great success”.
