(AOF) – Edenred presented record 2023 operating results. Net profit, group share, down 30.6% to 267 million euros. It was impacted by the accounting recording of the charge corresponding to the fine of 158 million euros from the competition authority paid by the group in 2021. Ebitda stood at 1.094 billion euros, in increase of 30.7%, showing a margin of 43.5%, an increase of 2.3 points. Ebitda increased by 33.9% organically. “Edenred benefited fully from the scale effect of its platform,” the company explained.

Total revenue exceeded 2.5 billion euros, up 23.7%, including growth of 18.7% in the fourth quarter, including 20% ​​on a comparable basis. Operating turnover reached 2.3 billion euros, up 18.8%, including 17.4% internally.

Free cash flow also stands at a record level of 905 million euros in 2023, reflecting an Ebitda to free cash flow conversion rate of 83%.

The debt ratio was reduced to a level of 1 times Ebitda following the acquisition in 2023 of Reward Gateway for 1.3 billion euros.

The group will propose a dividend of 1.10 euros, up 10%.

Edenred has confirmed the objectives of its Beyond strategic plan for 2024. It targets organic Ebitda growth of at least 12% and a free-cash-flow conversion rate on Ebitda greater than 70%. In addition, Edenred has the potential to seize new external growth opportunities.
