EDF: cooperation agreements with 5 Polish companies – 06/23/2022 at 12:31

(CercleFinance.com) – Yesterday, during a Franco-Polish event dedicated to the nuclear industry organized in Poland, EDF announced the signature of five new cooperation agreements with Polish companies.

The event was organized with the aim of promoting cooperation between Polish and French companies and supporting EDF’s preliminary offer to build four to six EPRs in Poland.

EDF has thus concluded new cooperation agreements with five Polish companies – Polimex Mostostal, Sefako, Telefonika Kable, Uniserv and ZRE Katowice – thus confirming their pre-qualification for potential EPR programs.

Cooperation agreements have also been entered into between Bouygues Travaux Publics and Budimex SA and between IGEOS and GIFEN.

‘EDF’s ambition in Poland is very clear: we want to offer an integrated offer, based on European technology and the European supply chain, in order to contribute to energy independence, security of supply and the transition energy’, says Vakisasai Ramany, vice-president of EDF, in charge of the Development of New Nuclear Projects.
