(AOF) – Resulting from the EDF Pulse Incubation intrapreneurial program, Oklima is the new subsidiary of the EDF group specializing in carbon contribution. With Oklima, EDF completes the solutions in response to its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enriches its offer of decarbonization support services. Oklima develops projects that contribute to carbon “sequestration” (for example through reforestation operations) or to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
These projects are, in France, certified by the “Bas Carbone Label”. Oklima also offers “carbon credits” from projects carried out outside France, certified by international labels.
Oklima allows its customers and the EDF group to strengthen the strategy of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The financial contribution of various clients to these external projects is essential to achieve carbon neutrality on a global scale.
