(CercleFinance.com) – The State holds, at the provisional closing of the offer, 3,725,111,882 EDF shares, representing 95.82% of the capital and 96.53% of the voting rights, and 218,616,300 OCEANEs ( i.e. 99.96% of the number of OCEANEs in circulation).
This announcement follows today’s publication of the results of the simplified government tender offer for EDF shares by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers.
This result makes possible the implementation of a squeeze-out on EDF shares and OCEANEs.
‘The State also recalls its commitments relating to this operation, in particular that of not implementing the squeeze-out before the decision of the Paris Court of Appeal on the appeal filed by certain minority shareholders. The decision should be made no later than the beginning of May’ indicates the Ministry of the Economy.
