Almost nobody knows about this legal regulation: this vacation entitlement is only used by just under two percent of employees! With the magic word “Educational leave“You are entitled to five to ten vacation days per year in addition to your annual vacation. According to the Bildungsurlaubsgesetz, 27 million employees in Germany are allowed to attend recognized educational seminars for up to ten days. Educational vacation: surfing, paragliding and yoga

The list of recognized educational seminars for which you will be granted leave is long.
