Efforts to continue – popular wine tavern files for bankruptcy

The popular Linzer Heurige “Schindler’s” in Linz’s Lederergasse is insolvent. A reorganization procedure without property management was opened today, Monday at the regional court in Linz, and the owner is striving to continue the premises.

Last Friday, the debtor submitted a handwritten application for the opening of restructuring proceedings without self-administration to the Linz Regional Court through one of its shareholders. Today, Monday, this insolvency procedure was opened. Further information is not yet known due to the lack of a list of creditors and a precise report. The intention is obviously to continue the company to finance a 20% restructuring plan, payable within 2 years of its acceptance. Examination is ongoing “The insolvency administrator will examine whether the restructuring and continuation of the company intended by the debtor is possible without further losses for the creditors “, says Alexander Meinschad from KSV1870.
