eFootball 2022: an update on the extension of cross-play and the arrival of new features, no Master League before 2023

Despite the reviews and the title’s apparent lack of popularity, Konami keep supporting eFootball 2022 to try to install the free-to-play in the gaming landscape. It has thus welcomed some new features with its 1.0 then its 1.1.0 in recent weeks, several months after its failed launch.

At the dawn of the arrival of the Season 2the editor now does update on the future of the project. He sees far, with lobbies to play matches between DreamTeam after the summer, additional customization options and cross play between consoles and PC this winter (it is currently only available between console players), then additional clubs and a mode Master League/Master League paying (as planned) in 2023. Clearly, if you were expecting this type of content, you will have to be patient.

We have received many comments and questions about eFootball 2022 from our users, and in response, we would like to introduce you to some of the updates planned after version 1.1.0.

Free content

  • The Match Lobby where users can create online rooms and play matches between teams created in Dream Team is expected to be available after summer 2022.
  • Some editing functions will be available in winter 2022.
  • Cross-play between consoles and PC will be available in winter 2022.

Paid content

  • The number of teams that can be used in Leagues and Club Teams will be expanded and distributed as additional paid content by the end of 2022.
  • Master League will be available as additional paid content in 2023.

We will continue to update the game in response to your feedback. Thank you for your continued support.

Besides, eFootball 2022 will it be renamed eFootball 2023 or other following the arrival of content related to the next season? Only the future will tell us. Until then, its direct competitor FIFA 22 is available from €26.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
