The latest improvements to gameplay ofeFootball 2022 date from last May and we will obviously have to wait a little longer to discover new ones. For the transition to eFootball 2023which will take place by the end of August, Konami rather plans to focus on content than game mechanics.
Already, in a symbolic way, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bruno Fernandes join the ambassadors Lionel Messi, Neymar and Takefusa Kubo, and will be entitled to their Premium Ambassador Pack to unlock them in the mode Dream Team, with gestures and techniques captured directly on the players. The Season 1 will also be an opportunity to unlock new types of players, why not new categories Featured Where Epicof the Club Packs or some Manager Pack. L’AC MilanI’Inter-Milan, Club America and the entire Liga BBVA MX will also be added to the experience.

The theme for the season will be “New Season Kickoff -New Player Types & Licenses-”. Who says new season, says new players and managers, but also new hopes and dreams of clubs and supporters. Get ready and come and enjoy the new football season with the latest jerseys and new player data!
New player types
Added 2 new types of player cards that will give you more freedom than ever when building your team! Manage the development of your own players with player progression!
- Featured – Players specifically selected for outstanding performance in the current season, with a higher progression cap than Spotlight players.
- Epic – In tribute to the milestone seasons of the big names of yesterday and today, with a higher progression cap than that of Legendary-type players.

New licenses
eFootball 2023 will see the addition of a number of new licenses. Two football clubs of equal prestige… Choose your favorite in the Derby della Madonnina as we add AC Milan and Internazionale Milano to the game. Club América, without forgetting the Liga BBVA MX in all its intensity!
In addition to the authentic shirts, AC Milan and Internazionale Milano players will also wear the original eFootball jersey in-game. Seeing the players in training shirts during warm-up is also sure to add real touch to this atmosphere.

Konami takes this opportunity to announce an extension of its partnership with Arsenal F.C.for full 3D modeling of the current team, and branding of the logo eFootball on the headrests of the stadium seats. It is also extending its collaboration with the FC Bayern Munich for a few years.
