  1. Thoroughly grease a springform pan with a tube base insert or a Bundt cake pan and dust it with flour. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat (fan oven 160 degrees, gas level 2).

  2. Mix flour, starch and baking powder. Beat the eggs, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and salt with the whisk of the mixer until foamy. Slowly pour in the oil and eggnog in a thin stream and stir in. Finally, add the flour mixture in portions and mix everything into a creamy dough.

  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth it out. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes. If the surface of the eggnog cake becomes too dark, cover it with baking paper. Do a stick test about 10 minutes before the end of the baking time. Remove and let cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
