(CercleFinance.com) – Eiffage Énergie Systèmes and Gen-Hy, a French start-up offering innovative solutions for the production of green hydrogen, announce the creation of Gen-Hy Cube, dedicated to the manufacture of AEM (Anion Exchange Membrane) developed and patented by Gen-Hy.
The two companies thus intend to contribute to the development of the production of renewable hydrogen and support the decarbonization of industry, mobility and energy.
The new plant, the first deliveries of which should be effective in 2024, will have an annual production capacity of 100 MW of AEM electrolyzers with a possible extension up to 300 MW.
Eiffage adds that this ‘innovative and unique in France’ technology of Gen-Hy electrolyzers will make it possible to obtain a high yield of 85% and a high purity of hydrogen.
