(CercleFinance.com) – Eiffage announces that the SBTi (Science-Based Targets initiative) has validated its short-term emissions reduction targets, considered to be in line with the levels required to achieve the objectives of the Paris Agreement and trajectory 1 .5°C.
Each Eiffage business line is committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions in order to reduce the group’s emissions by 46% on scopes 1 and 2 and by 30% on scope 3 upstream and downstream (direct emissions ) by 2030 compared to 2019.
The validation of the short-term objectives (2030) marks a first milestone before the establishment of a longer-term trajectory in order to achieve ‘net-zero’ by 2050, an objective on which the construction and construction group concessions are also committed.
