(CercleFinance.com) – Eiffage, through Herbosch-Kiere subsidiary of Eiffage Benelux, has signed an EPCI contract with Enshore Subsea in a 50/50 consortium for the design, manufacture and installation of submarine electrical cables in Dakar, Senegal, awarded by MCA-Senegal II.
This operation, the total amount of which amounts to 205 million dollars (192 million euros), responds to a request for improvement of the high voltage network in Dakar and its surroundings.
Herbosch-Kiere and Enshore Subsea will install two 225 kVm, 16 kilometer long electrical cables at sea as well as six 2 kilometer long, 225 kVm electrical cables on land, between the west coast (Rive Bel Air) and the coast east (Cap des Biches) of the bay of Dakar.
