Eiffage: signs a wind power contract with EnBW


(CercleFinance.com) – Eiffage, through Smulders (Belgian subsidiary of Eiffage Métal), won with the Dutch company Sif the contract awarded by EnBW, a German energy company, for the manufacture of 64 transition pieces for the future fleet offshore wind farm EnBW He Dreiht.

Each transition piece will be 30 meters high and have a diameter close to 8.5 meters. Their unit weight will be just over 700 tonnes, including the secondary steel structures.

Located in the German North Sea, the EnBW He Dreiht offshore wind farm will have a total capacity of 900 MW and is expected to be commissioned in the second half of 2025.
