Eight Palestinians killed in Israeli raid in Jenin


RAMALLAH, West Bank, Nov 9 (Reuters) – Eight Palestinians were killed and at least 14 others injured in a raid by Israeli forces in Jenin, the Palestinian Health Ministry said on Thursday.

The Israeli army said it was carrying out counterterrorism operations in the West Bank city, without providing further details.

At least 173 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since the Hamas attack in Israel on October 7, according to figures from the Palestinian Health Ministry. (Ali Sawafta, Jean-Stéphane Brosse for The French version, edited by Blandine Hénault)
