Eisbulle Tolvanen – Witcher is lucky in the game and in love

Atte Tolvanen is ready to defend his title with the Ice Bulls. The goalie had an eventful summer, got engaged on vacation.

With 94.6 percent of shots saved, Atte Tolvanen played a major role in the Ice Bulls’ renewed championship in the ice hockey league. The goalkeeper rightly received the award for the best player in the play-offs. That doesn’t stop the 28-year-old from reaching for the stars: “Of course we want to win the title again, we’ll work hard for that.” More pressure felt But not the Finn: “My job stays the same, I have to stop the puck.” The goalie – like most of the rest of the team – has been back in Salzburg since last weekend. Atte has had an eventful summer. “I was in Helsinki a lot, trained there with my brother and other professionals,” explains the “Witcher”. Before that, he also visited his brother Eeli in Seattle (US), watched him and his colleagues during an NHL play-off game the octopus on its feet. However, the highlight of his summer must have happened in Greece: “My girlfriend and I were in Santorini. That’s where we got engaged,” beams the 28-year-old. The batteries are fully charged again, the pre-season can begin: “The group has largely stayed the same. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again.” Tolvanen is also excited about the new coach: “It will be exciting times for all of us.”
