Rapper to be seen in a new family series from 2022

Eko Fresh will soon be seen in a new series role. The ARD production will close soon.
Rapper and actor Eko Fresh (37) has been in front of the camera for a new series since the beginning of March. On June 8th, the last stone will fall during the filming of the six-part family series “The Striving for Happiness”. Eko Fresh plays Firat Bozoklu, a fun-loving small business owner who receives a mysterious offer.
Together with Jasper (Manuel Rubey, 42), an actuary, and Ines (Katharina Schüttler, 41), a career-oriented lawyer, Firat receives a suggestion from a generous gentleman named Gottlieb Herzinger (Branko Samarovski, 81): They try for a year to become happier and at the end of the time just receive a million euros. Her partners, played by Karolina Lodyga (37), Lena Dörrie (38) and Sergej Moya (33), and the children are not allowed to know about the deal, and all three have to hold out together until the end.
The series is produced on behalf of BR, ORF and WDR. Directed by Michael Hofmann, the film was shot in and around Munich. The broadcast in the first is planned for 2022.
